Dr. Ioannis Binietoglou

Short CV: 
Ioannis Binietoglou studied Applied Mathematics and Physics at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and conducted his Diploma Thesis at the Laser Remote Sensing Unit-LRSU of NTUA (Thesis title: "Study of the vertical profile of water vapor over Athens using the Raman-LIDAR technique", supervisor: Prof. Alexandros Papayannis). In 2008 he obtained a M.A. in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Department of History and Philosophy of Science (Thesis title: " 'Models shaped inside the memory': The analog to digital transition in the context of electric power analysis in the USA (1950 - 1965)", supervisor: Prof. Aristoteles Tympas). He conducted his PhD at the University of Basilicata, Potenza, Italy while working at National Research Council / Institute for Methodologies for Environmental Analysis (CNR – IMAA) (Thesis title: "Synergies of ground-based remote sensing techniques for aerosol mass profiling", Supervisor: Dr. Gelsomina Pappalardo).
He has been ER-Fellow (Experienced Researcher) at the Institute for Opto-Electronics (INOE) in Magurele, Romania, within the frame of the Marie Curie ITN ITARS network. Currently, he works at INOE-Romania.
